Time to peruse our full programme
Just landed is the schedule of events for this Saturday's BIDA National Conference.
And what a packed and diverse programme we have!
This ranges from inequalities in women's health to the basics of conducting an appraisal; plus, the very real concern all of us share about the physical and mental health of medics.
There will be keynote addresses on what BIDA has achieved and its plans for the future, and presentations from those we encouraged to come forward with their innovative ideas.
The evening also promises to be a spectacle, with our awards citations.
We shall be there to share what happens, so keep it here if you can't attend.

Commencing with caring for those who care
It isn’t a healthy situation – as the number of doctors emotionally burnt out has topped 34% while sickness in our NHS workforce is on the climb, again.
And so the first session at our BIDA National Conference (10 October, please see poster) will discuss how to ensure the wellbeing of our medics is looked after properly.
Feeling valued in their workplace is a huge consideration and for international doctors practicing in the UK, safely settling into a new job and environment is paramount.
How to achieve this will be under investigation in Session One of the conference, which is a gathering of medics from around the globe currently plying their trade in Britain.
The whole event will have essential issues such as this at its heart, and so it is sure to garner healthy numbers of guests.

Just landed – details of our national conference where dentists and doctors originally from overseas but now serving in the UK, gather to meet, discuss issues and enjoy some camaraderie.
